Unlike every other year, 2011, started on a bright note. Aadukalam scooped up as many national awards as it can and kicked off the year in style. What followed was nothing less impressive. Despite the fact that there were not too many blockbusters, many movies made good business. Here's a list of movies that we felt deserve attention as among the best of 2011; they need not be a commercial success but they were successful in doing what they started out to nevertheless.
