"You shouldn't have asked," says Kamal to Lingusamy

When director-producer Lingusamy went to meet Kamal Haasan to invite him for the 100^th day function of Kumki, he reportedly asked the Ulaga Nayagan if he would be available to attend the event. To this, the star is said to have replied that he shouldn’t have asked him such a question because Kumki happens to be Sivaji Ganesan’s grandson Vikram Prabhu’s debut vehicle.

Lingusamy has produced Kumki and Prabhu Solomon had directed it. Kumki is soon to reach the 100^th day run at the box office and a grand function to commemorate this is being planned.

It may be recalled that for the audio launch of Kumki, the entire film industry reported their presence including Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
