Reportedly, Vadivelu has demanded a pay packet on par with the film’s budget and has got it. Yes, this is for his upcoming film Tenali Raman in which he plays dual roles. Simbu Devan, who had given the smash hit Imsai Arasan 23aam Pulikesi with Vadivelu playing the lead role, will be donning the director’s robes for Tenali Raman as well.

The producer of this film, Kalpathi Agoram has agreed to Vadivelu’s demand and the project is set for a start soon, we hear.
