Seeman and Ameer at the Rameswaram court

Directors Seeman, who also heads the Naam Thamizhar Iyakkam, and Ameer appeared before theRameswaram Magistrate Court yesterday in connection with their speech against the Sovereignty ofIndia. During a protest by the film fraternity in support of the Sri Lankan Tamils in 2008, Seeman andAmeer made some derogatory speeches against the sovereignty of India.

Following this, a case has been registered against them. Both Seeman and Ameer made it to the courtyesterday in this connection. The magistrate questioned both the directors and later adjourned the caseto February 10th.
