Superstar's rare public appearance

After he successfully fought his health scare, Superstar Rajinikanth is not seen in public events as much as he used to. In one of the rare appearances he made in recent times, Rajini, along with Soundarya Rajinikanth was seen enjoying the concert Classic Incantations, on Republic Day led by AR Rahman.

Although there were renderings of Rahman's hit songs, the German film orchestra Babelsberg played largely instrumental music. Rahman greeted Rajinikanth upon his arrival. Babelsberg is also involved in scoring music for Rajini's upcoming Kochadiyaan.
