"I expected one thing from Prabhu Deva... but something else happened"

Vishal is not too happy with the outcome that his last release Vedi had. The star said that when he roped in Prabhu Deva to direct this film, he had thought that the director would have fiery entertainer on the lines on Pokkiri, which he had directed earlier.

But the director did not live up to the expectations and everything fizzled out, rued Vishal. The star, however, states that his next, Samaran, would make up for Vedi as director Thiru has come out with some great scenes and songs.

Samaran stars Trisha as Vishal’s lead pair and also has Sunaina in the star cast.
