Thamarai teams up with Ilayaraja for the first time

Thamarai has always been a favorite lyricist for director Gautham Menon. She had been penning lyrics for Gautham Menon’s films right from his debut venture Minnale. For Gautham’s Nee Thaane En Pn Vasantham too, Thamarai is penning the lyrics for a few songs.

Interestingly, this is the first time she will be working with maestro Ilayaraja. Thamarai says that two songs have been recorded already. Nee Thaane En Pon Vasantham’s shooting has been stalled due to the FEFSI strike and will commence once things are sorted out.
