The truth from Ajith's side

Some months ago there were reports that the Aaranya Kaandam director Thyagarajan Kumararaja had narrated a story to Ajith and the star also agreed to play the lead role in it. The buzz now is that Ajith may take up this project soon after completing Vishnuvardhan’s film.

It is true the discussion happened, but Ajith was so busy with Mankatha and with Billa 2 falling in place almost immediately, it was decided to put Thyagarajan Kumararaja’s film on hold. Thala is now contemplating on taking up the film and is expected to summon Thyagarajan Kumararaja very soon for talks.
