Reason for expectations

Vaanam has Simbu and Anushka playing the lead pair and the film is directed by Krish. This movie is a remake of the smash hit Telugu flick Vedam and it is reason enough to raise the expectation levels.

The music for Vaanam has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and all the five songs have turned out to be chartbusters. With ace cinematographer Nirav Shah handling the camera, there is no doubt that he would have done an excellent job.

Cloud Nine Movies have lapped up the distribution rights of Vaanam and this indicates that there will not be any dearth in the promotions. The star cast in Vaanam includes Bharath, Jasmine, Saranya, Sonia Agarwal, Prakash Raj, Santhanam and Radha Ravi. The movie is produced by VTV Ganesh and R Ganesh.

Level of expectations: 70%

Genre: Action Drama

Audience: Will appeal to all youngsters, particularly Simbu and Anushka’s fans. Music buffs can
revel on the songs set to tune by Yuvan.
