Reason for expectations:

The first and foremost reason for expecting Mankatha is Ajith, secondly it is director Venkat Prabhu, thirdly it is the trailer and then it is the music director Yuvan Shankar Raja.

 

Apart from all these factors, the most important thing is that it is Thala’s 50. Since this happens to be Ajith’s half century, his fans want to see the film on the very first day of its release. This has led to a mere scramble in the theatres and the police are having a tough time controlling the crowds.

 

If this is not enough, the film fraternity is also discussing the film in social networking sites, which has upped the expectation levels.
