Why Amala Paul did not attend the press meet?

The media persons were miffed with Amala Paul for not attending the Kadhalil Sodhapuvadhu Yeppadi press meet. When enquired about her absence, the producer of the film Sashikanth said that the actress had to attend an exam the next day and hence could not make it.

Interestingly, Amala Paul was seen in full public glare just a day earlier cheering for the Chennai Rhinos at the CCL 2 match. This has irked the press people as it is clear that Amala is trying to evade facing them.
