Thanks to the prayers of millions of his fans worldwide (and the treatment he underwent at the Mt. Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore), superstar Rajinikanth returned to good health and arrived in Chennai recently. Access Kollywood ran a special segment seeking fans of the superstar to send in their prayers. The idea was to collate all the prayer slips, print them out and weave them into a garland and present the same at the Raghavendra Swamy temple.
Accesskollywood received thousands of prayers from fans across the globe and these prayers were printed out and taken to the Raghavendra Swamy Brindavans in Thirumullaivail, Chennai. This temple was built by Raghava Lawrence. The garland was 500 feet long. Actor Ashok, who is a Rajini fan himself, participated in the event.
As a matter of fact, Ashok has been writing 'Sri Rama Jayam' in a notebook for Rajini's speedy recovery ever since he fell ill. Ashok's notebook also was submitted at the sanctum sanctorum along with the prayer garland. Incidentally, Ashok's birthday also falls on the same day as Rajini's - December 12th.
Accesskollywood expresses its gratitude for Ashok for participating in the special pooja.
